~ Geek Chic Policies ~

Ordering our custom furniture
To place a custom order, fill out the online form. Then one of our valet’s will confirm the details of your order. We require a non-refundable 50% deposit to reserve your place in the manufacturing line. If you are mailing a check, we must receive it within 7 days of the online invoice or telephone order to ensure your place in line. Once we begin actual manufacture on your item the other 50% is due and the total is non-refundable. Production times will vary for custom furniture orders upon demand. Please e-mail with any questions or call your sales representative.


Forms of payment for custom purchases
All payments must be in U.S. funds and drawn on a U.S. bank only.  We accept paypal, checks and money orders.  Credit card orders are processed same day.  Orders using check or money order take 5-10 business days to process from date of deposit.  A $25.00 charge will be assessed for any check returned for insufficient funds.

Shipping, delivery, taxes and discounts information for custom orders

-We currently only deliver custom furniture within the contiguous 48 states. We are working on Canada and Alaska, inquire if you are interested. Feel free to fill out a custom furniture order form or subscribe to our e-mail sign up and be sure to check the international interest list and we will contact you when international sales become available.
-If you live within the state of Washington you will be charged local sales tax.
-If you are a Washington state resident you will receive an 8.9% discount. We do not offer any other discounts.
-All gaming tables are charged a standard $150 white glove delivery fee.
White glove delivery includes our employees arriving at
one delivery location per order charged, unpacking and removal of all packaging debris, placement of items in one designated area and filling out a checklist to ensure there is not damage to the item(s) and that you have been instructed on the item(s) use if need be. They will move the items up to 2 flights of stairs that can reasonably accommodate the item(s). If the items do not fit in the stairwells or elevators, etc. we are not responsible for placement of the item(s).
-We do not currently charge for shipping on any Sultan Gaming Table. This will change for deposits made after January 2009.


SHIPPING DAMAGES PROCEDURES FOR ALL GEEK CHIC WHITE GLOVES DELIVERIES
Our white gloves delivery service will ensure there is no damage to your table before they leave and will have the new owner sign for the table after installation. If damage has occurred then Geek Chic will take the appropriate measures to repair the damage. Be it the delivery of a new piece, refinishing of a surface, or the creation of a new table in catastrophic cases. Said customer will automatically be moved to the front of the manufacturing line and delivery lines to receive their replacement as quickly as possible.

Cancelled Orders for Custom Orders
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once they are put into production.

Returns and Exchanges

CUSTOM ITEMS:
We do not accept returns on custom items.  If an item has been damaged in shipping, once your claim is filed by our delivery service, we will commence production of your replacement.  If a defect is found, we will arrange a repair or replacement.
