How it works
Gift Coins
Gift coins come in $50 and $100 denominations. They're individually minted,
two inches in diameter, dual-sided metal coins. You can flip 'em in the air and
call heads or tails, use them as counters, collect new ones as they come out,
save them up in a Depository box, and exchange them for customizable furniture
from Geek Chic.
You (or generous patrons of your game-related furnishing goals) can purchase them off
the site in any number you like.

If you are exchanging a large amount, we
recommend you contact us and let us know you are sending them via certified mail.
Change
If your purchase leaves five dollars or less remaining on a gift coin, we'll give you your change in cash. Anything over five dollars becomes store credit.The Depository
Yes, we have heard your numerous requests for a gift registry for your birthdays, weddings,
holiday times, and expected child(ren)... The Depository is our answer.
The Depository is two things: literally, it's a coin bank the cost of which can be redeemed
towards the cost of Geek Chic goods.
Symbolically, it's a little piece of Geek Chic to hang on to until you achieve the real thing.
Easy to use! You can put the Depository on your desk, give it to your spouse, use it as
a GM bribe box, or put in on the gift table at a geek wedding. Simply store your growing pile of
coins inside until you're ready to place your deposit, then redeem the coins and the code on the
bottom of the box with Geek Chic-- and start building your Emissary*.
*The word "Emissary" may be exchanged for any other customizable Geek Chic piece, or combination of
pieces listed in the Furniture section. You may use Gift Coins in the
Shop The Labs section as well!
