If all we needed coffee tables for was coffee, there wouldn't be a Hoplite. Coffee tables are the command center of the living room: television, videogames, work, crafts, games, and meals make "coffee table" a misnomer and a relic. The Hoplite is the long-overdue upgrade.
With an indexed drawer, modular rail system, and dropped play surface, the Hoplite is the perfect table for your actual needs. Break your TV's monopoly on the living room! Game like you would if your table wasn't covered in junk. The Hoplite has storage for all the essentials, so your tabletop is free range.
Foundation
The Hoplite includes choice of wood (walnut, maple, or cherry), natural finish, choice of height, rail system, bamboo lid, base shelf, 2 ¼" game vault depth, white vault floor, acrylic layer, and a suction cup (to lift the acrylic layer).
Drawer vs. Shelf
The Hoplite comes with a shelf, but you may upgrade to a drawer. You cannot have both a drawer and a shelf (it would only allow 3"-4" of shelf space, so this would be functionally pointless and aesthetically not as pleasing.) If you order a table over 48" long, you would get 2 side-by-side drawers.
